Project Natal

With all the interactive video games becoming so popular, Microsoft hasn't really been keeping up much. They're definitely trying to change that with a product they've revealed at the beginning of June this year. It's being called Project Natal and a "controller-free gaming and entertainment experience." It has voice recognition, it senses your movements, it knows when you're in the room, everything is controlled by you, not a controller.

If you want to move through a menu, you wave your hand. If you're in a game and want to kick something, you kick. If your in-game character is driving a car, you're making the motions. Absolutely everything is controlled by the movements you make. It makes the Wii Fit look out-dated.

It doesn't look like this device will be available any time soon, though. Microsoft seems to be looking to release it some time in 2010.
